Hardware Compression [H.264] DVR System 4 to 64CH
SpyCard Pro compression board is a professional digital security product, which adopts most advanced H.264 video compression algorithm and OggVorbis audio compression technology.
SpyCard Pro can support 16 channels in one board, compress video at CIF/2CIF/DCIF/4CIF resolution and preview at 4CIF. Newly designed PCB of the card more compact and steady and compatible software interface makes development faster and easier.
SpyCard Pro board uses fully optimized algorithm based on DSP technology to implement video & audio real-time encoding, active video & audio preview and motion detection, etc. Video image is directly transmitted from board to display frame buffer and compressed stream is also directly sent to host's memory. The whole transmit doesn’t need any intervention of host computer processor, saving resources of host computer’s processor greatly. One PC Server can support up to 64 channels Video and audio input, parameters of each channel can be set independently and will not affect each other.
SpyCard Pro compression board supports Windows 2000/XP at present & in the near future Server 2003 and Linux operating system.
SpyCard Pro is a next generation of PC base DVR system, for to long PC based DVR systems have been developed with Mpeg4 based compression, which whilst the file sizes are small Mpeg4 is not of same Video quality as H.264, Mpeg4 has major issues when moving objects move in front of a cameras such as people walking or cars,whilst H.264 does not have this problem, this is where Mpeg4 has major video interlace issues. Mpeg4 compression also tends to be very pixilated on full screen playback.
SpyCard Pro DVR cards take all the pressure of CPU as it uses hardware and not software to compress image and that also increases image quality as hardware compression offers Full D1 704 x 576 resolution (not mpeg4 based 640 x 480 with video interlacing when images move).
